In God’s Presence is where you find joy and in His presence is where you find peace. Today the world is hectic and in such turmoil. It’s vital that you remain in the presence of God.
You may be asking, “How, when I’m at work, school, and I’m constantly occupied?” You must never become so busy that you can’t make time for the Lord.
There are ways you can abide in His presence, like when you’re at work or school during your spare time; Listen to the audio bible app, listen to worship music, or write down some scriptures and meditate on them.
Psalm 139:7 says, Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? You must start to invite God into your life, and become aware of His presence. Psalm 16:11 says, you will fill me with joy in your presence. There’s so much chaos happening around us, but in the presence of God there is joy.
I want to share with you two ways you can spend time with the Lord at home.
- Start off by listening to worship music. Artists I listen to are Bethel worship, Jesus culture, William Mcdowell, and Travis Greene.
- Pray and communicate with God. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always, 1 Chronicles 16:11. Tarry in the word of God. Isaiah 26:3, Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee. The Lord will keep you in perfect peace if your mind is continually on him.
I encourage you today to abide in the presence of God, and He promises to fill you with joy and peace in return. John 15:5 says, If you remain in me, and I will remain in you, you will bear much fruit. In order for you to bear the fruits of the Spirit, you must remain in the Presence of God.
